In these verse, Jesus is the guest at a Pharisee's table when something unexpected happens–a weeping woman interrupts the meal and anoints Jesus' feet. Then we learn Jesus is traveling with not only male disciples, but women as well, who are helping his cause. Jesus then speaks to a large crowd and tells them a parable.
